Just finished my first PopFly Mashup utilizing Virtual Earth, Facebook, and Geonames. Shows the last location of the server used by a facebook user to login. Pretty cool, feel free to find my friends on the map!

A free and reliable web hosting solution, as per request (and yeah, they do deserve it), I’ve placed my hrefs on my site’s footer (my site90 main and my social page) as tribute:



It’s AS8 of our WEBDEVT Class, got the source code from here and set the variables to be based from the Philippine setting. All cities are based from Wikipedia’s “List of Cities in the Philippines” and a corresponding screenshot of all variables being placed onto this work is attached. Hope you guys like it, it’s the first that I got the thrill of coding in PHP this term, and yeah, guess that’s a pretty good sign that I’m back.

For those having a Windows default page when they type http://localhost in their browser, or that their WampServer is offline, here’s a suggestion:
Follow Sir’s instruction on STOPPING the WORLD WIDE WEB PUBLISHING service on the CONTROL PANEL>ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS>SERVICES window as shown in this example:
Quickpost this image to Myspace, Digg, Facebook, and others!
Then, look for a WAMPACHE service and right-click on it and select START, as shown in this example:

Now try to access http://localhost and you should have the following page:
